I rarely write letters of thanks for services provided, as I normally believe service providers are just doing their job. However my experiences using your expertise as an optician with advice and suggestion to help my wife Tracy choose the right type of lenses and glasses, has been exceptional.

I am writing this testimonial to thank you for the excellent service you provided me recently. As someone who has worn glasses for over 40 years, I have experienced a large number of opticians with varying degrees of success.
The whole process of updating my glasses was handled efficiently and I felt very comfortable with you and your staff. I was very pleased with the quick and efficient way in which your optometrist tested my eyes and I was particularly impressed by the simple fact that you didn’t try and sell me the latest and greatest (and most expensive) frames. In fact on this occasion I was able to retain my old frames – a novel and refreshing approach to customer service.
The costs, too, were very reasonable. When I compared your prices to those of my last eye test (and resulting new glasses) – at Vision Express – your eye test cost less AND you were able to supply me with more modern, lighter lenses for almost the same cost, and that’s 2 years later !!

I would like to commend you for the excellent service you gave me recently.
As you know I play in a band and sometimes have to read lyrics from a song sheet, often placed at a discrete distance (No point letting the punters know I don’t know the words). However as a wearer of varifocals I had not appreciated a particular problem I would have when reading at a relatively short (mid ?) distance.
As my optician, you quickly recognised the problem and produced a new pair of glasses at extremely short notice (less than 2 days) and saved the day at our most recent gig – and the price for this outstanding service was very reasonable – no doubt the BNI discount helped!!!
So once again, an excellent service which I can recommend to anyone.

Dear Paul;
I want to thank you for helping me to ‘save face’ this past month in a way no one else could have done.
Because of my fall and the damage I had done to my forehead and especially my left eye, it was hours before I realized that the left lens in my glasses was useless. It was a relief to come into your quiet, professional setting, have an eye exam and be fitted for new lenses without having to ‘tell about the incident’ yet one more time and the understanding I received was what I needed. Your staff offered just the right balance of attention and professionalism, and everyone worked together seamlessly.
True to your promise, your directed me to frames that have brought positive comments all around and I love the face that they have a touch of ‘bling’.
What isn’t visible (sorry!) is what you recommended for my former frames. Providing Verilux lenses with a prescription specifically for working at computer distance has totally changed my ability to function more effectively.
I can see clearly, whether I am looking at the monitor or down at my notes, without bobbing my head up and down. As a result I no longer have a stiff neck, headache and fatigue at the end of my work day.
So I am telling everyone who notices my glasses about my experience, and recommending that they come to you, Paul, the next time they need glasses, want a change of style, or are experiencing difficulty with vision in their computer work. You have gone several extra miles for me. Thank you.

Just a quick letter to say thanks for the excellent service you provided me during my eye test and selection of new glasses whilst at your shop. You provided me with a level of service that I have not received before, this being friendly, honest and accurate.
For the first time ever I had the chance for someone independent to say whether the glasses (the 60) that I tried on actually suited me. This is just to say thank you so much for your service. I had some new glasses about 2 months ago from you. I used to have glasses for reading, but kept finding that I would take them off to do other things and it was just such a faff to put them back on again. When you suggested varifocals, I thought I’d aged 10 years! However, they have been a godsend! It took me about 2 weeks to really get used to them – they gave me a few headaches initially, but I preserved and thank goodness I did!
They have been brilliant. Not only brilliant in terms of everyday sight stuff, but I can’t tell you how many people have asked me where I’ve got my glasses from. I think they’ve really enhanced my image (still don’t look too bright, but I’m working on it!), but both men and women have pointed out how much they suit my face shape and my personality – in fact, some people I know are quite disappointed when I’m not wearing them – it’s a man thing!
Thanks once again, Paul, for persuading me to have vari-focals and to your staff for making it fun as well as educational!

Firstly I would like to say a huge thank you for the time and expertise that you have shown while taking care of my daughter Emily.
Not only did you firstly diagnose the problems that she had with her eyesight you made her feel very comfortable and special about wearing her first pair of glasses.
When we had our next appointment we were relieved to find out that the bi-focal lenses you prescribed had done their job and she had now only has to have normal lenses – Emily was thrilled and picked a beautiful red pair with your help.
