Repairs
For many people their glasses are with them all day, either being worn or carried on their person. Inevitably then, they are exposed to the risk of being knocked off, sat on, dropped or even chewed by the dog!
If you have ever damaged your glasses, you will know what an inconvenience this can be. At Paul Lewis Optician we understand these situations and wherever possible will try to repair your spectacles in our onsite laboratory, right here in Northampton. We find that most repairs we do are very simple and can be done whilst you wait, often at no charge. Whether it’s a simple straightening or adjustment to the frame or a replacement frame or side hinge screw, we can do it. Simple solder repairs, replacement nose pads or side tips are also available.
For the more complex repairs such as titanium frames we can use one of our optical partners that specialise in this area. Single lenses can also be replaced, and wherever possible we will try to match a tint or anti reflection coating.
